I did, but I will repeat myself for the hard of hearing.

I have a couple of users (2) that I have created and deleted using "Control
Panel >> User Accounts"

They now no longer appear as users in User Accounts, or on the welcome
screen at windows logon. However, they can still be used to logon if you
make users type in a username (instead of the welcome screen.) I can also
access them from ActiveHTML configuration console that I have running. So
clearly the users still exist.

I have been advised to remove them using the computer management console,
but I do not have 'Local Users and Groups' section in this console.

How do I remove them? I am running XP home.

You refuse to give any information. I don't even know what you are talking
about. Everyone who has answered you is guessing at what you mean. I don't
guess because I am really tired of people asking questions without supplying
information.

So stop clogging up the group with pointless drivel or ask the exact
question you want an answer too.
