Safe Mode will try but I went through with the Reinstall
got the following error messages:

Error: Setup had problems registering the following OLE
control DLL D:\windows\system32\initpki.dll
Contact System Admin...

Error The signature for windows XP Home Edition Upgrade
is invalid. The error code is 426. the Service has not
been started

Fatal Error: Setup failed to install the product
catatlogs. This is a fatal error. the setup log files
should contain more information.

Any thoughts...thanks for your help

>If it worked at one time then a Restore might solve your
problem. Can you start in safe mode? When your computer
is booting you meed to press the F8 key usually. If you
have a Start menu in safe mode then click Start>Control
Panel and then you should see System Restore listed on
the left. It pretty much explains itself.
