For several days my DSL Internet speed is 28.8 Kbps, is that slow?

28.8Kbps is slow for DIALUP - for DSL it is practically
criminal. Are you sure your not accessing the internet
via a dialup modem and NOT your DSL line ? Do you hear
the line dial when you get on the internet ? Have you
looked in the Internet Options in Control Panel (the
Connections tab) and toggled it to Never Dial a
Connection ?
