When eliminating Netsky worm from my computer (Pentiu4,
2G, with 512 Ram) I inadvertently (and stupidly)
cancelled three folders under "Documents and Settings":
LocalService, NetworkService and Default User. Now, my
computer takes more than two minutes for the logon and
under the events viewer I see two errors (number 1500, no
reference to them in Windows when I notify the error),
one under Local Service and the other under Network
Service. So, I believe that it is the lack of these two
folders that is creating problems. After this initial
dealy, the computer works without a hitch, so the problem
is not very serious, but I would prefer to have it
identified and solved.
Does anyone know how I could restore these folders or
force Windows to recreate them (they are hidden folders,
but I have modified the necessary parameters to see them,
and they are not there, and I believe that they are
created by Windows automatically during the installation)?
Many thanks
