Hi Pauline,

If you're using the WINXP Start Menu, click on Start then right-click in the
blue title border (where it displays the username) and select Properties.
Click on the Customize button, then Advanced tab. In the Start Menu items
field, scroll (if necessary) to locate Favorites menu and click in the
checkbox beside it to place a checkmark there. Click on OK, then Apply and
OK.

If you're using the Classic Start Menu, go to Start>Settings>Taskbar and
Start Menu. Click on the Start Menu tab, then Customize button. In the
Advanced Start menu options field, click in the checkbox beside Display
Favorites to place a checkmark there. Click on OK and OK again.
