Hello again:

Rick, I decided to do a clean install (remove the existing partition, create
a new partition, format as NTFS, and then install XP Pro).

The reason is because I purchased this machine used, as a gift for my
grandson. I felt that the previous owner may have garbled something in the
OS. So I decided to go with a clean slate.

After doing this, the XP Pro system runs perfectly. No glitches at all.

Regards,

Papa
