There's no reason why you have to limit yourself to one product.
I used to use a combination of Adaware and Spybot Search and
Destroy; I ran each daily, and every day each found things the
other didn't.
A couple of months ago I installed Spyware Blaster, and since
doing so, Spybot Search and Destroy has never found anything,
although Adaware still finds an occasional tracking cookie or
two. I think Spyware Blaster is the best product, but I now
recommend a combination of it and Adaware.
