When you get in Event Viewer, items marked in yellow are "alerts." Red
items are "errors." Double click on any of these to see more details.
Choose the ones with data and time stamps that coincide with the times that
you receive the error message. Check under System and under Applications.
What you are looking for is a more detailed message about the "low
resources."
XP does not have the problem with user resources that Win9x or ME did. It
is likely that this message is coming from a program that is not quite
compatible with XP. If you can find a program name in the details found in
Event Viewer, check for an update for that program.
