Hi,

I have a wierd situation after I just upgraded from Win Me to Win XP.
Everything works fine except... it seems that frp doesn't work through
browsers. I have a DSL connection and trying to do ftp via eitber Mozilla or
IE doesn't work though I can do it by running the Windows ftp program. I
think this may also have a side affect where some programs on installation
that use the internet for registration won't necessarily work either (the
registration part that is). I downloaded the free AVG virus scanner and it
can't get updates. The internet is otherwise working fine - i.e. I can surf
anywhere and I can get email from imap, pop3 and hotmail accounts without any
problem at all.

Can anyone offer me some advice here?

Thanks,
Ben
