One reply states "Leave that folder alone". Oh brother. Why? You can turn off the prefetch feature in the registry if optimal boot times are not your goal. Stopping the use of prefetch in no way has any adverse effect on your OS. Not using it just adds a small additional amount of time to your boot process. If your space is low and you need to conserve as much as possible then simply turn off the prefetch. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\MemoryManagement Go>start\run and type in regedit and then navigate to the MemoryManagement and click on the key to highlight it and open the sub keys in the right panel. find Prefetch Parameters and right click on it and the click modify and set to 0=disable. Settings to activate can either be 1-3 or 5. Various eXPerts claim either 3 or 5 as the optimal setting. For me 3 is optimal. Good luck.
