After running disk clean up I received an error message that advised "Files
that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by
unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore
the original version of these files. Insert your CD-ROM now. Reenter / More
Information / Cancel". The message goes away when I place the WindowsXp CD in
the CD Drive and a Windows install screen pops-up.
I am not sure what has casued this, is it something that I should be
concerned about. How can I fix it?
Thanks
John
I am not sure what I need to do to proceed and would appreciate help to
reinstall the WindowsXp Professional files that apparently have been
corrupted.
