Trouble with C Drive Access

When I double click to access my C:/ drive thorough My Computer, I receive
error msg stating, "C:/is not a valid win32 application".

I right clicked the c drive and noticed the dropdown menu has an AUTOPLAY
option which I have never noticed before. It seems like my system is trying
to open an application but I am just trying to open my C drive.

My OS is Windows XP Professional.

Please help.

Thanks,

Curtis
