I have XP Sp2 , without any domain, just workgroup at home.
I can't get to the login screen, I just see the XP logo and I tried
the "f8" and start in last good and safe mode and still get stuck and
don't see the "login" screen
I tried using the orignal XP CD and boot into recovery mode, but I
can't see to give it the proper pwd for the administrator account...
I used the ERD disk ,but the system restore is like 24 months old,
and I'm heistate to do it...
I can access everything via the ERD, but don't kow how to fix XP so
it will boot to the login screen....
