Draggin the favicon in front of the Google address down to the quick
launch toolbar doesn't establish a shortcut, nor does saving the site
to the desktop. Is there something special Google requires to
establish a desktop/QLT shortcut to google.com? Thanks for the help.

Re: Quick Launch ... I always had a one touch button on lower r side of taskbar to ... You should now see the Quick Launch toolbar next to your Start ... Initially it will contain a shortcut to launch Internet ... You could then drag... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)

Shortcut Problem Misunderstood/Unanswered ... I have always kept a shortcut to my floppy drive in my quick launch toolbar at the bottom of the screen - until now. ...
