Re: Add/Remove Programs will not Launch

Try this :

WinXP Pro:
Start > Run
Type "gpedit.msc" (Without quotes)
Click OK > Go to (Under User) :
Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Add/Remove Programs
Right side, double click "Remove Add or Remove programs" > Set to "Not
configured"

WINXP Home :
Click Start > Run > "regedit" (Without quotes) > Click OK
Go to :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Uninstall
Right side, double click "NoAddRemovePrograms" > Set it to 0
OR You can also delete the "NoAddRemovePrograms" value

The Add/Remove Programs will not launch from control panel or Run. I've
tried a number of suggestions listed in the newsgroup and nothing seems to
work. Frustrating... Any help available would be greatly appreciated.
