My computer freeze a lot of time since I installed SP2 from Windows Update.
I tried to buy the CD and installed it from the CD but now my computer is
slow. Also my computer is designed for Windows XP and on my manufacture's
website it says that I should get Windows XP. Also, if I don't install it I
can't get important update from Microsoft Geniune! HELP PLEASE!

Re: SVCHost keeps crashing ... I'd mentioned previously that I had run virus scanning and anit-spyware ... installed after device drivers and windows patches.... So the machine is not fully patched at Windows Update?... I didn't do a repair install.... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
