Your XP account must be password protected for this to work, meaning you
must enter a password to access your account. The second problem you should
take up with Dell tech support.

I understand a folder can be made private by right-clicking My Documents
and
then click Properties, then click the Sharing Tab and select the Do Not
Share
This Folder checkbox, then click O:K. It didn't work for me in my Windows
XP
- Home Edition software. I would appreciate it, if you are successful in
this endeavour, to walk me through it. I had selected a particular folder
in
My Documents and then tried to make it private by going through the
operation
above.
I have just recently upgraded from Windows ME to XP - Home Edition and
another problem I'm having is that three keyboard buttons on my Dell
keyboard
are not bringing up the windows they are supposed to. The Dell Support
button at the top right corner brings up the Calculator; the Dell.com
button
(in the same location) brings up My Computer window, and the Favorites
button
(within a grouping in the centre at the top) does not bring up anything.
I'd be most appreciative for any help for any help you can give me. Many
thanks.

P.S. - I have a Dell Dimension Desktop computer with Windows XP - Home
Edition operating system.
