I click on run, type in A:/ and sometimes the message says , file not
formatted, but I know that it is because I have used it before when I saved
a word doc. I went to manager and it says it's working properly, but it's
not. I rolled back to a new restore about 2 weeks before and that did not do
it either. I can run the same floppy on my old 98 win. and it works fine. so
what's going on, It appears as though XP cannot read A:/ As I said sometimes
it works and sometimes it don't. I've tried thru MY Computer and clicked on
A: and I sometimes get the same message " disk not formatted do you want to
format , and of course I don't want to lose what I filed. ANY Suggestions?
