ComptMgmt Remote Admin RedX help help help

Question:
While using the Compmgmt Console and connecting remotely to another
computer "Across the network to another DSL network" Example: I am able to
connect to the computer but I am not allowed Admin rights Even if I run as
Administrator??????

Things I have tried:

I connect useing the "gateway address/computer name"
I log on as "computername\administrator" Like I said I get connected but no
rights ????
