PCMCIA Card Problems.

Hello, resently bought a pcmcia card for my laptop, my laptop being a Toshiba
satelite, the card being a combo cardbus USB2.0 plus IEEE1394, sounded great,
untill i plugged it in, everything stopped working, laptop froze solid
counldnt even CTRL ALT DELETE, any help? ive tried to go through windows help
but it may as well speak swaheely to me.
