XP Pro SP2 freezes during bootup. Initial boot screen with loading bar seems
ok, then freezes at a Windows Logo screen, no error messages.

This happened after performing a disk duplication process (creating a new
backup boot hard disk using Western Digital utility). The copying process was
interrupted before it completed. After restarting the WD disk utility, it
indicated that the copy was in process and the computer should be restarted
to complete the process.

After rebooting the computer, it freezes as indicated above. So now I have
no backup disk and can no longer boot into windows.

Help appreciated.
