I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you. There are only two login screens
of which I'm aware. One is the welcome screen and the other is the one that
appears when you hit ctrl-alt-delete which may be what you are seeing when
the system boots.

You cannot rename the default account. It's user name is administrator and
the system will not let you rename it, hence, if you renamed an account, it
was not the default system account. Nonetheless, you seem unable to reach
that account, I can only suggest starting over, I have nothing else to
offer.
