I was using Windows XP Pro and had setup 3 users to be able to LOG IN and use
the computer. 2 users were set as Computer Administrator and one was set as
Limited Account. One of the of USER accounts preferences were set so that
the files could not be viewed by others. After speaking with a few people
about some problems I was experiencing which has nothing to do with the user
accounts or profiles that were being used, they suggested I re-install WinXP
Pro. SO I did this. I didn't not re-format the drive or anything. I ran
the CD and re-installed it. When it was all done, and when I setup the new
User Accounts when prompted and everything was set, I went into the Documents
And Settings Folder and found my new user accounts/profiles folders as well
as the ones from before I reinstalled WinXP Pro. When I goto click on the
folder that was a Computer Administrator and had that specific privacy
option, it says Access is Denied. Is there ANY WAY I can access that folders
content? I have a LOT of valuable information in there, personal files and 2
years wroth of work and I do NOT want to lose that info. I can access the
other OLD folders and the info in them but can't get to MINE. PLEASE HELP
ME! Am willing to do whatever it takes to get these files back! THANK YOU
IN ADVANCE!
