yes one of my employees has gone on vacation and will be
gone for 2 weeks in alaska. he is the only one with
administrator rights on a computer that i have set up for
several users. i had to terminate one of the employees
that is a user on the computer. what i need to know if
their is a way somebody can tell me how i can open up the
administrator account since i don't have a way to get in
contact with the admin user for 2 weeks.
if not is their a way i can boot the pc and have my then
fix my account to have administrator abilities? i talked
to our IT person and he said that their isn't anyway that
this could be except by reformatting the hard drive and
reinstalling XP and then resetting up the user accounts.
