I just finished upgrading an older Win98/Win2000 dual OS
to a single XP Professional setup, having to use the
quick FAT32 format. Now when I access the login page I
receive the error message: "A problem is preventing
Windows from accurately chaecking the license for this
computer. Error code: 0x8007002" - I supposedly found the
solution on the troubleshooting MS page, and other sites.
However, as it tells me to edit the registry to alter or
delete cryptography providers; the keys do not match the
examples given to me. Does anyone have any clue of what
could be going wrong and have solutions? Anything would
be greatly appreciated.
