Remote files open as Read-Only

Try looking at the properties of the shared folder, the
default simple sharing is "Read Only". Once you have
highlighted and right clicked the folder, go
to "Properties" then thr "Sharing" Tab, put a check mark
in the box "allow users to change my files".
