Have you tried rebooting the system. Hit ctrl-alt-delete, when task manager
appears, click Shut down and click restart. If that fails to resolve it,
follow the same routine as above, when the system gets to the first boot
screen upon rebooting, start tapping f8, when the menu appears, select Safe
Mode and press enter. When you reach Safe Mode you should immediately be
asked if you wish to go to System Restore, answer yes. Then, use System
Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this began. If System
Restore isn't presented when you get to Safe Mode, upon entering Safe Mode,
go to Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
