Hi Vera

I am having problems with QuickBooks 2004 Pro (you did warn me)

Can you confirm I followed the correct procedure:-

1) I run the utility change user /install (I tried add & remove programs
this also failed)
2) I run the QuickBooks installation and accepted all default settings, and
had to restart the server
3) I made the changes:-
a.. create a QuickBooks Users group
b.. add your users to this group
c.. give the group Full Control to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intuit\QuickBooksRegistration
d.. give the group Full Control to the .QPG key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
e.. give the QuickBooks Users group Modify rights to the Program
Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Pro folder
Did I miss anything?

PS: QuickBooks Enterprise Edition works fine.

Regards
Barry
