For "save password" the RDP client uses encryption not
supported by anything before win2k, so it won't work on
me, 98, nt, etc.
As far as getting rid of the connection bar, I don't
know. It's good that they can minimize a "full screen"
session, but bad that they can disconnect instead of
logging out. I'm addressing the problem with training and
negative reinforcement techniques.
