Possible to specify PXE boot server on boot floppy

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I would like to use PXE boot but I don't have control over the network
or DHCP server. I want to boot machines from several subnets and there
is no way that I will be able to get the network dudes to forward DHCP
requests to my RIS server. Am I sunk, or is there a way to use a boot
floppy to specify the location of the RIS server?

I would like to boot off of a PXE floppy that has hard coded the IP of
the TFPT server rather than getting it from the DHCP server. This way,
the PXE clients wouldn't need to be on the same subnet as the TFTP
server, and I could use different TFTP servers depending on the boot
floppy.

So what I want is to boot off of a floppy like one of those netboot or
etherboot disks - you know the PXE boot floppy. The computer gets its
IP address from the DHCP server and then contacts the PXE boot server,
grabs the boot image from there and loads it. It doesn't require that
the DHCP server provide the address on the PXE boot server.

Is this possible? Any hints in the right direction?
