I am trying to set up roaming profiles but have run into
an odd problem.
I am using NT 4 as our domain controler and setting the
user to use the profile path \\server\profiles\%username%
\\server\profiles is set to full control for everyone
\\server is just a win2k pro system
When I login to a win2k pro computer as that user
everyting is fine, I can save files an logout without a
problem. The profile is saved to //server (all files are
present) BUT when I log back in to the win2k PC and
delete a file (on my desktop or document folder) then
logout. The files I delete are not removed from the
profile on the //server. It has no problems with saving
new files or saving altered files but it will not delete
any files... The files are deleted off the local machine
but are put back on during the next login.
Both win2k systems have the latest updates. Does anyone
know what is going on?
Thanks,
Jamie
