Re: Finding drivers for Win 2000 on Dell xps R450

Thanks for the tips. I guess I did take the short cut. The win 2000
installed alright. I then reinstalled office and adobe stuff they all
OK. I did not delete NT 4.0 yet. The win 2000 identify two unknown
hardware one it just calls hdc and the other ethernet controller it is
the latter I can't find a driver for. Dell site had a download 9456T
(11MB) supposedly for win 2000 and xps r450 machine but the file after
unzip does not reveal any obvious install procedure. My guess is the
chips and hardware seem to be OK, I just wish that I can get a driver
so I can be online then I can download stuff to do the proper upgrades.
Any one knows the driver file name for the PCI ethernet controller,
please reply. Much oblidged.
