Back in January 2003 I had a problem which was due to installing Q329170.
This aparently unfixed a slow shutdown problem which was fixed in SP3. On
advice received here I backed out Q329170 and eveything was fine. Ever since
I have been very wary about updates, and as a result my system is still at
SP3.
I would like to go to SP4 but am concerned this will include Q329170 and I
will get the old trouble back. Has anybody any recommendations? Stick with
SP3? Or go to SP4? The system has been running well for well over a year, so
I'm being very cautious.
Thanks in advance.
Harry
