Unable to delete Registry Items

I going through registry deleting all occurance of the word "panda" relating
to the AV product. However their are certain instances where this is
impossible i.e when it hits "LEGACY_.....". In XP one could change
permissions to enable delete (right click of mouse). How is the done in 2000
???
