Re: Perfmon

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Thanks Mark V

I am willing to wait as long as it takes to get a solution.
Yes former employee, and baclups have been re-configured.
I havent in the past had great luck with repair installations... no offense
to the microsoft team. I will do that as a "last resort".

I was just wonder if these perfmon files and registry setting will be
re-created at a startup. I know that this happens if the wmi interface gets
corrupted.
You wouldnt happen to know of the default location and values of the
registry settings? ... and a really silly question.. is the perfmon a
critical system file, or would the system still boot if the file and its
entries were missing?

Rich
