DCOM Registry Owner

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi All,

When running dcomcnfg, the utility shows that the default access permissions
registry key, DefaultLaunchPermission, is owned by the user, not
Administrator. Running regedt32 and checking HKLM\Software\Microsoft\OLE
shows that it is owned by Administrator. Does anyone know why dcomcnfg is
showing a different owner for the key?

Thanks for your help.
