run
type
gpedit.msc
navigate to
Computer Configuration
Administrative Templates
System
Logon
Maximum retries to unload and update user profile ...
set enabled and to say 5 ... default if not configured is 60!!
(the error may still persist but shutdown will be faster)
you can also try
Start
Run
type
net stop spooler
click OK
before shutdown
