URGENT! HELP! Unable to go to Recovery Console

Hi,

I need to use Recovery Console to rescue my W2k 2000 Prof
workstation to uninstall service pack 4.

I've the got Administrator password to login to the
computer from Windows logon. (Although there are some
other errors, it allows me to login).

Then, I restart and run Recovery Console. When prompted
the password, I entered as asked. But this round it fails
me! Why? I've made sure that's not a Capslock problem.

Experts, Pls help!
