Hi,
I have problem after applying Service Pack 4 for our
Windows 2000 Professional system:
It keeps on rebooting!
I can barely read the message which turns up and last
less than half of a second: there is something to do with
c:\winnt\system32\config\software file.
But it is too fast for me to read the full description of
the problem before it reboots again!
Any expert here can teach me how to revert the changes?
If I were to do a reinstallation of Windows, I need to re-
install everything (many many software and settings).
Is there a way to trick the system so that I can bypass
(some if not all) changes done by Service Pack 4 and at
least allows me to login to the system?
As such, any way for me to modify c:\winnt\system32
\config\software (& other registry files etc) to by pass
Service Pack 4 changes?
My file system is FAT32.
Please help! Thanks a lot!
best regards,
jackling
