it could be the Idle time before hanging up of the client

How to configure VPN or Dial-up
options 1. Open Network and Dial-up Connections 2. Right-click
the dial-up connection you want to configure, and then click Properties.
3. On
the Options
tab, in Redial
attempts,
click the arrows to set the number of times the dial-up connection is
automatically redialed if the first attempt to connect fails.
4. In
Time
between redial attempts,
click the arrows to set the amount of time to pause between the end of one
attempt and the beginning of another. 5. In
Idle
time before hanging up,
click the arrows to set the amount of idle time before a client hangs up a
connection. 6. If
you want the connection to automatically redial if the line is dropped, select
the Redial
if line is dropped
check box. Don't send e-mail or reply to me except you need consulting services.
