I have a small office with the following setup. We connect to a static IP DSL connetion through a Wireless Dlink router.
The Dlink is set up as a DHCP server there are both wired and wireless PC on the network. I have a wired 2000 Pro machine that I am trying to set up as a Gateway for VPN. The home office wants me to use only one VPN connection for everyone. So I am trying to set up the 2000 Pro machine as the gateway. What I want to do is start the VPN on the "gateway" machine and then let everyone else connect to the VPN using it. I have assigned it a static IP and manually entered DNS. It has the DLINK set as it's gateway
Dlink - LAN IP 192.168.1.50 LAN SM 255.255.255.0
2000 Pro "Gateway" IP 192.168.1.100 SM 255.255.255.0 GW 192.168.1.50 DNS manually entered
Other machines set with Static IP's IP 192.168.1.xxx SM 255.255.255.0 GW 192.168.1.100 DNS Manually entered
The gateway machine browses the internet with no problem, but none of the other machines can connect to the internet.
Also the gateway machine connects to the VPN OK and can still browse the internet after connected but none of the other machines can access the VPN.
I had it working at one time but for some reason that I can't figure out it broke.
Thanks in advance for the help.
