Trouble getting the Canon MP730 working with W2k - works with Win98se

I recently added a Canon MP730 all-in-one printer to my system which dual boots Win98se and Win2000. Win98se works fine but Win2000 will recognize the printer. I am using the drives & install system from Canon's web site. Any help would be appreciated.
