Hi,
A printer shared by a fileserver in my company has broken and i replace it
with a different model of the same brand. The IP and the printer name remain
the same. The new printer is working but i want to change the shared name to
show the new model name.
The problem is that when i change a single letter from the name (from the
general tab of the properties of the printer) the users can no longer
connect to that printer. This means that every user have to reinstall the
printer. Is there any way to avoid this?
.
