IPP Printing to Win2k3 from XP over HTTP

Good afternoon,

I am trying to set up IPP printing on a Windows 2003 server. Here are
some details of my setup:

Server:
Windows 2003 (without SP1)
IIS 6
Printers virtual directory is present with basic authentication
URL: http://servername.domainname.com/printers/

Clients:
Windows XP Pro with SP2
IE 6
http://servername.domainname.com is in Trusted Sites
Trusted Sites security set to Low

The print server is also a domain controller (yes, I know having these
services on a DC is bad; I don't have a choice in this situation).

Clients can browse to the URL and manage printers. However, when they
try to connect using IPP they receive the message "Access is denied". I
am unable to find any corresponding event in the logs on the server or
client. I'm unsure whether this access denied message is resulting from
security settings on the server or client.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide more information
if needed. Thanks.
