verify that Lanman Print Services is at the top of the print Provider list
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.
3. On the Advanced menu, click Advanced Settings.
4. Click the Provider Order tab.
