Hi.

If my memory still serves me, you can do the following:
Set up your jetdirect box to use IPX. It may ask for a
network ID, make it 0000000001 (all zeros and a 1).
Set your PC up to utilize IPX/SPX NWLink protocol. This is
Microsoft's implementation of IPX/SPX protocol to run with
Novell Netware. Check out the properties on this protocol,
again the network ID is the same as noted above.
For starters, leave all the defaults on the protocol
properties. Bind IPX/SPX to your nic.
Test the printer by sending a print job.
Again, I believe you can get a printer configuration
printed out thru that box (It's an old one, isn't it?),
which will show your config for the printer i/o.
You probably also need to set up DLC.
Again, just add it to the ject direct box's list of
enabled protocols.
Let me know if it works. If not, I can find you addt.
info. But need to know what type of HP J.D. box you're
using.
Good Luck.
