printer problem

I have a program must print lpt1 but my desktop work on
the windows 2000, and my server on windows 2000 server.
i'm eable to print in windows, but when my program start
and must print on lpt1 i'm not eable to print because my
printer is not lpt1 but network printer how i can
configure for lpt1 ???
