this is not th way you install network monitor
network monitor contains two modules - network monitor and network monitor
drivers
by your method you have installed just the network monitor drivers. now u
need to install network monitor for this go to add /remove programs and then
windows components double click management and monitoring tools and select
network monitor tools to install network monitor

Hello:
The other day I went to install the Network Monitor driver for Windows
2000
Pro. I opened up Network and Dial Connections and selected my WAN
connection. Then the Install button. Then I selected Protocol as the thing
to install. I chose Network Monitor as the protocol amd the system did a
silent install. It didn't prompt me or anything.
Then I opened up a Command Prompt and typed Netmon and it said that
command
is not recognized internally. I then performed a few searches of my
computer
for this file and I could not locate it at all.
Any Ideas?
Thanks Ron
