I was installing the Pinnicle "bonus" CD, after about 30 minutes into the
install I cancelled the install because it was taking too long. Since then,
when booting up, W2000 says NTOSKRNL.EXE is corrupt or missing, and won't
continue the bootup.
I put the drive into another W2000 computer and copied a new NTOSKRNL.EXE
(keeping the old file with a new name) into the WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.
But the error message persists.
The original OS Installation CD can't repair the operating system and says
that it cannot find an instance of W2000 on the computer. Help.
