Hi Jan:
I am not aware of a setting like this for ethernet connections, only
dial-up. Are you sure you are being disconnected from the your network?
Does this behavior only occur in your newsgroup reader, or does it
occur for all your network-aware applications? Can you ping other
machines on your network? Is your internet gateway a using dial-up
connection?
